Southeastern is one of the largest independent Medicare home health providers in Pennsylvania, with a growing presence in Virginia. In addition to its skilled home health business, Southeastern also provides hospice, palliative care, and mobile primary care services.

GGC completed the recapitalization of Southeastern in partnership with Operating Partner Rick Gandersman, an accomplished veteran in the homecare and hospice industry, and the existing management team. Rick served on Southeastern’s board of directors and worked closely with CEO George Pinel and COO Bill Giammaruti, both of whom were prior owners of the business. The management team continued to own a significant equity interest in the company during GGC’s hold period.

Southeastern was sold to AccentCare, Inc. in June 2021.
